Limited edition of hand cut glass vases inspired by the reflection of light and blue color in a physical context, designed by Catarina Pacheco. These stellar pieces come to life according to the environment in which they are placed, inspired by the studies of Dutch designer and colour researcher ‘Hella Jonguerious’. Every piece is hand cut by a Glass Cut Master with more than 30 years of experience, at Marinha Grande, a city in Portugal known for glass production since the 18th century.

Each design has a limited edition of 20 pieces, where every single one is signed and numbered and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
All the glass pieces are mouth blown into a wood mold and then sculpted manually throughout its surface, where charming small imperfections are part of the artisanal process.

Colour Conversation XII
Colour Conversations is a collection of unique mouth blown glass vases about how colours speak with each other, designed by Catarina Pacheco and made in collaboration with high skilled craftsman in Portugal. Intentions were set by placing glass pigments in a certain way inducing the visual perception, based on Joseph Albers’s studies, a German artist & academic. One of a kind piece handcrafted with deep red & bordeaux pigments, where each piece is signed, numbered and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
