Welcome to www.catarinapacheco.com (“Website”), operated by Catarina Pião Nogueira Pacheco, NIF 254564690, based in Portugal (“Catarina Pacheco”, “we”, “our”, or “us”).

These Terms & Conditions govern the use of this Website and any inquiries or purchases of glass editions, commissions, and related services.

By accessing this Website or making an inquiry or purchase, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before using the Website or purchasing any works.

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. The version published on the Website at the time of your inquiry or purchase shall apply.

1. Website Use

We aim to ensure that the information on this Website is accurate and up to date. However, we do not guarantee that all information, including product descriptions, dimensions, availability, or pricing, is always complete, accurate, or free from error.

We reserve the right to modify, update, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Website without prior notice.

Access to the Website is permitted on a temporary basis, and we are not responsible for any temporary unavailability or technical interruptions.

2. Product Information & Availability

The Website presents collectible glass editions, limited editions, unique pieces, and other selected works.

Due to the handmade nature of glass and artisanal production methods, slight variations in colour, transparency, texture, dimensions, bubbles, marks, or finish may occur. These characteristics are inherent to the material and production process and should not be considered defects.

Images displayed on the Website are intended to represent the work as accurately as possible. However, colours and appearance may vary depending on screen settings, lighting conditions, and photography.

All dimensions provided are approximate.

Availability of works is subject to confirmation. A displayed item does not guarantee immediate availability, and we reserve the right to withdraw works from sale at any time.

3. Pricing & Purchase Process

Prices of works may be publicly displayed on the Website.

However, purchases are not completed automatically through the Website and are handled through direct inquiry and personal communication.

Submitting an inquiry regarding a work does not constitute a confirmed purchase or reservation.

Availability, shipping details, and final purchase arrangements will be confirmed directly with the customer before payment is requested.

We reserve the right to decline or cancel a purchase request at our discretion, including in cases of pricing errors, unavailable works, or exceptional circumstances.

Unless otherwise stated, all prices are shown in EUR (€).

Shipping fees, customs duties, local taxes, or additional charges are not included in listed prices and may vary according to destination.

4. Payment Terms

Payment is required in full prior to shipment.

Payment service providers, where necessary to process transactions

We reserve the right to begin production, preparation, or dispatch only once payment has been received and confirmed.

We do not store complete payment card information through the Website.

5. Shipping & Delivery

We ship internationally where possible.

Shipping arrangements, timelines, and delivery costs will be confirmed directly with the customer prior to finalizing an order.

Estimated lead times and shipping schedules are provided in good faith and are indicative only. While we make every effort to meet estimated timelines, delays may occur due to production schedules, material availability, customs procedures, courier operations, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Estimated delivery times begin following confirmation of payment and finalization of order details. Shipping transit time is not included in estimated lead times.

We take great care in packaging all glass works to ensure safe transportation. However, once an order has been dispatched, delivery timing and transport conditions are managed by third-party courier providers.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information. We are not responsible for failed deliveries resulting from incorrect or incomplete address details.

We are not liable for delays resulting from customs procedures, courier interruptions, force majeure, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

6. International Orders, Customs & Taxes

Orders shipped internationally may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, VAT, brokerage fees, or other local charges depending on the regulations of the destination country.

These charges are the sole responsibility of the customer.

We recommend reviewing local customs and import regulations prior to placing an order.

Once a shipment is dispatched and transferred to the courier provider, delivery delays resulting from customs inspections, local import procedures, or carrier disruptions are outside our control.

7. Handmade Nature, Returns & Shipping Damage

All glass works are handmade and produced through artisanal processes. Slight variations in colour, transparency, texture, dimensions, bubbles, marks, inclusions, or finish are inherent to the material and production process and are not considered defects.

Due to the handmade and limited nature of collectible glass editions, slight material variations may occur between pieces and between photographed representations and the final object. Natural variation is part of the character and uniqueness of each work.

All sales are final.

We do not accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations due to change of mind, material variation, colour differences, natural characteristics of the glass, or minor distinctions from photographic representation.

Customers are kindly asked to inspect shipments carefully upon delivery.

If an item arrives damaged during transport, notification must be made within 48 hours of confirmed delivery by email to info@catarinapacheco.com.

To assess a shipping damage claim, photographic documentation must be provided, including:

  • The damaged piece

  • The interior and exterior packaging

  • The shipping box

  • The shipping label

Packaging materials must be retained until the claim process has been completed.

Claims submitted after 48 hours of confirmed delivery may not be accepted and may constitute acceptance of the item as received.

Where transport damage is confirmed, we will review the case and may, at our discretion, offer a replacement (subject to availability), repair, partial refund, or full refund.

We are not responsible for lost or stolen packages after confirmed delivery.
